A few weeks back saw us in need of some time out from the craziness of London.
As if our fairy godmother had heard our prayers we were invited to The Lamphouse for the weekend.
The Lamphouse is the home of Julie and Richard – our incredible singing teachers. I say singing teachers but I view Julie as a life coach, an hour lesson with her is like pure sunshine in my day. I know Jamie feels exactly the same about Richard. They are those special people you come across in life who just take you under their wings and make you feel like part of the family.
They got a load of their students over for catch ups, champagne and good old fashioned around the piano singing.
Julie and Richard are a firm favourite in the West End; among us that day were current cast members of Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, The Light Princess and The Commitments, so it’s not your average family singalong.
