Before the snow took hold and we were all marooned, we paid a visit to Blackheath’s charming little bookshop, hidden away in the village. The Independent rate it one of Britain’s 50 best bookshops and I can see why.
Hidden away in the corner I stumbled across a couple of boxes of old theatre, opera and ballet programmes dating from as far back as the 19th Century. What a treat.
